Bright Kazel Kraft Card

Bright Kazel Kraft Card, originally uploaded by Bio-hazar.

Yesterday I had a wonderful day out despite the down pour of rain. I took my in-law to the Craft Barn in Surrey and they let me pick out a few things for my up coming birthday present. I got some of the new Nick Bantock Inks, some Glimmer Mist and a couple of new stamps. Then we went out for a nice pub lunch at a place called the Old Cage, which use to be the town jail. I enjoyed a nice "Curry Buger" followed by a naughty chocolate cake with chocoate sauce. YUM!

When I got home I desided to have a play with my new inks and came up with this card done for a friend up coming birhtday. It was done using my new Nick Bantock inks and Tim Holtz wax batik technique. Stamp used is from Kazel Kraft again as I'm really enjoying these new stamps. Papers are Bill Hill Create papers and ribbon is K&Co paper ribbon. Added embellishments of a bird brad and buttons were used.

Koala Kard

I enjoyed having some friends around on the weekend for a mini crop at mine. During the crop I did this cute Koala card for a friend's two year old's birthday. I used a new Whipper Snapper rubber stamp coloured in with water colour pencils, Basic Grey Archaic papers, Chip board letter, Ranger Distress Ink and ribbon. The balloons on the image was double stamped, coloured, cut out and mounted with 3D foam. Clear Stickles glitter was then added to the balloons.

My First Moo & Tag Your It #5

My First Moo, originally uploaded by Bio-hazar.

This week on "Tag Your It", the challenge was to incorporate a Moo onto your tag. A Moo is a decorated small piece of card measuring 2.8 x 7 cm. This is my first attempt at making a Moo and was done using Ranger Distress Ink, Ranger paint dabbers, Glimmer Mist, Paper Artsy stamps a flower, brad and charm coloured with alcohol inks. I then added my Moo to a tag cut out of striped paper, so that it would also fit into this week's challenge at Wednesday Stamper of using strips. Sprayed the striped tag with Glimmer Mist and stamped the background with Paper Artsy stamps. I then added my Moo and blossoms and ribbon to finish it off.

ISMAKI Challenge 17

Sketch

A 65th birthday card for my father-in-law, completed using the ISMAKI Challenge 17 sketch. I used Isa's metallic dabber and alcohol ink technique again, because I'm enjoying it so much. Also used K&Co K-ology Addison paper on Stampin' Up cardstock. The main image was backed onto card that was embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder and coloured with Ranger Distress Ink Peeled Paint. The stamps used were Crafty Individual crackle background and PaperArtys stamps. Embellished with scraps of ribbon and buttons.
